Walking frames & rollators

Your cuppa, coming with you

When both hands are on your frame, there's nothing left to carry a drink with. muggi sits in your basket or tray and keeps each drink upright in its own holder.

If you use a walking frame or rollator, a cup of tea can mean a juggling act or a wait for someone to bring it. muggi is a simple, sturdy drinks carrier that sits in your frame's basket or tray and keeps each drink upright, so you can make and carry your own, at your own pace.

The everyday problem

Tea, biscuits and the remote, in one trip

A mug balanced on a walking frame tray slides about and spills. muggi gives each drink its own deep holder and has non-slip feet, so it stays put while you move. Use the spare holders for biscuits, your glasses, a phone or the remote.

With a walking stick, muggi goes in your free hand: finger and thumb grips on every side make it easy to hold.

How to use muggi with a walking aid

  1. 1

    Measure your basket or tray

muggi is about 20 cm square. If your basket or tray is at least that wide, it will sit inside.

  2. 2

    Fill only what you need

One or two drinks keeps it light. Use the other holders for snacks or small things.

  3. 3

Set off at your own pace

The non-slip feet keep muggi in place as you go.

  4. 4

    Using a stick?

Carry muggi in your free hand by the finger and thumb grips.

    Multi purpose muggi

We ve bought several MUGGI's for various uses: elderly parent can now carry tea and biscuits in one hand whilst the other hand is free for a walking stick. I fill each pod with craft items and a a tumbler of wine! muggi is in constant use by our builders up and down ladders, muggi in one hand with 4 hot drinks, the other hand free to use... All the tradesmen are wowed by it! Brilliant idea!

Unfortunately not all mugs fit. But it does make carrying mugs up the garden much easier as I use a walking stick

My elderly mum has some mobility issues, she needs to carry bits upstairs so i was looking for something that she could use that was sturdy enough for a glass of juice not to tip and that she could grip as she has arthritic hands. This muggi is fantastic and I'm so glad i found it and decided to give it a go. …

    Extra Hand ✋

I was given a red muggi and found it invaluable for carrying a cup of tea, glasses and even a rolled newspaper upstairs. I'm the owner of two unreliable knees so I always need to have one hand free for the banister. The muggi is so much easier than a tray. I bought the blue ( recycled) muggi for a friend who also needs to pull on the banister. She reports multiple uses daily. They're great. …
